Shaykh Jahangir began advocating reforms in the education sector in the early
1990s. For nearly thirty years, he has devoted his time and efforts to educational institutes in helping them redesign their curricula, incorporating a holistic
approach towards educating the youth as well as mentoring adults, both in
professional and personal capacity.

He has helped set up and refine both contemporary and Islamic institutes,
Makatib and Dar ul Uloom (Islamic Seminaries) in his homeland and other
countries from Japan to the United States of America (U.S.).
